Ordering & Payment
How do I place an order?

Browse our product categories, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You'll enter your shipping and payment information, review your order, and confirm. You'll receive an order confirmation email immediately after your purchase is complete.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS compliant. We also accept Grid Free Supply gift cards.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All transactions are encrypted using SSL technology and processed through Shopify Payments. We never store your full credit card information on our servers.

Can I use a promotional code with a gift card?

Promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. You can use a gift card as a payment method, but only one promotional code may be applied per order.

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect sales tax in states where required by law. Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address. If you are tax-exempt, please email your valid tax exemption certificate to support@gridfreesupply.com before placing your order.

I received an error during checkout. Was I charged?

If you received an error and did not see an order confirmation page or email, your order likely did not go through. Contact us at support@gridfreesupply.com with the details and we'll verify whether a charge was processed.

Shipping & Delivery
Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! Grid Free Supply offers free standard shipping on all orders within the United States.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays) with a 5:00 PM EST cutoff. Standard delivery takes 3–5 business days after processing. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

What carriers do you use?

We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx for standard packages. For large or heavy items (grow tents, solar panel kits, water storage tanks), we use LTL freight carriers including FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, and XPO Logistics.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, Grid Free Supply ships only within the United States, including all 50 states.

My order hasn't arrived. What should I do?

First, check your tracking number in the shipping confirmation email. If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbors and your local carrier. If it hasn't arrived within the estimated window, contact us at support@gridfreesupply.com or call (973) 577-9094.

What if my package arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. For LTL freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt.

Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your order. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all accessories and manuals. A 20% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns. No restocking fee for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.

Who pays for return shipping?

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, Grid Free Supply covers return shipping and will provide a prepaid shipping label.

How long does it take to get my refund?

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. It may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. We offer exchanges for defective, damaged, or incorrect items at no additional cost. Contact us at support@gridfreesupply.com with your order number and the issue details.

Can I return a product that has been installed?

No. Products that have been installed, wired, plumbed, or modified in any way are not eligible for return. Please verify compatibility before installation. If you're unsure, contact us before purchasing.

Order Changes & Cancellations
Can I cancel my order?

Yes, if your order has not yet shipped. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement are guaranteed a full refund. Contact us immediately at support@gridfreesupply.com or call (973) 577-9094.

Can I change my order after placing it?

If your order hasn't shipped, we may be able to modify it. Contact us immediately with your order number and the changes needed. Once shipped, changes are not possible β€” you would need to follow our return process after delivery.

What if an item I ordered is out of stock?

If an item is on backorder, we'll notify you within 48 hours with an estimated availability date. You can choose to wait, cancel for a full refund, or substitute with a comparable product.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Most products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand. Grid Free Supply does not provide its own product warranty. Contact us for warranty details on a specific product.

Are your products new?

Yes. All products sold through Grid Free Supply are brand new and sourced directly from authorized manufacturers and distributors.

Can you help me choose the right equipment?

Do you offer product bundles or package deals?

Yes. We offer curated equipment bundles designed to work together as complete systems β€” for example, a grow room starter kit with a multi-tier system, LED lights, climate control, and nutrients. Contact us for a custom configuration.

Do you sell replacement parts and consumables?

Yes. We carry nutrients, growing media, replacement filters, bulbs, and other consumables. If you need a specific replacement part, contact us and we'll help you find it.

Do you offer volume pricing for large orders?

Yes. If you're outfitting a farm, greenhouse, commercial grow facility, or multi-unit property, contact us to discuss volume pricing and custom configurations. We work with commercial growers, property developers, and organizations.

Can you source equipment not listed on your website?

In many cases, yes. We have relationships with a wide network of manufacturers and distributors. If there's a specific product or brand you're looking for, reach out and we'll do our best to source it.

Account & Privacy
Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to track orders, save your shipping information, and view your order history for faster future purchases.

How do you protect my personal information?

All data is transmitted via SSL encryption, payments are processed through PCI DSS-compliant Shopify Payments, and we never sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you'll be removed from our mailing list. You'll still receive transactional emails related to your orders.
